Day 5Run to the Cross

Day 5

Run to the Cross

The final words of this passage are heartbreaking.

But they don't have to be your story.

The Judge of Revelation 20 is the same Savior who first came carrying a cross.

Before Jesus ever sits on a throne to judge the world...

He stretched out His arms to save it.

That's the gospel.

You don't have to fear the courtroom because Jesus already stood in your place.

He took your guilt.

He paid your debt.

He offers forgiveness to everyone who trusts in Him.

So don't wait until you stand before the throne.

Run to the cross today.

Today's Question: Have I personally trusted Jesus, or have I simply learned about Him?

Today's Challenge: Take a few moments today to thank Jesus for taking your place. If you've never trusted Him, let today be the day.

Today's Prayer: “Jesus, thank You for carrying the cross before You sat on the throne. Thank You for taking my judgment so I could receive Your grace. Help me live every day with gratitude for what You've done.”
