There are some things we've simply learned to live with.
Funerals.
Grief.
Sickness.
Pain.
Broken relationships.
Broken hearts.
We know they aren't good.
But they’ve been part of this world for so long that it’s difficult to imagine a world without them.
And yet, John says that world without those things is coming.
There will be no more death.
There will be no more mourning.
There will be no more crying.
There will be no more pain.
Because everything sin has broken will finally be gone.
So, if you belong to Jesus, whatever hurts right now has an expiration date.
It may not feel that way today.
You may be carrying something you desperately wish God would take away right now.
But it won't last forever.
One day, God Himself will wipe away the last tear you will ever cry.
And you’ll never cry another one.

Today’s Question: What pain in my life do I need to remember won't last forever?
Today’s Challenge: Name something that hurts right now and give it to God again. Then thank Him that because of Jesus, your pain does not get the final word.
Today’s Prayer: “Father, remind me that what hurts today won't hurt forever. Give me hope while I wait for the day when You make everything right.”
