The people in Isaiah's day looked pretty spiritual.
They were attending worship services.
Offering sacrifices.
Keeping religious traditions.
From the outside, everything looked fine.
But God wasn't looking at the outside.
He was looking at their hearts.
And what He saw wasn't surrender.
It was performance.
That's a sobering thought.
Because it's possible to fool other people.
It's even possible to fool yourself.
But you can't fool God.
He sees what nobody else can see.
He sees your motives.Your desires.
Your struggles.
Your affections.
And the good news is that He loves you enough to tell you the truth.
