This may be one of the most beautiful verses in the entire Bible.
After everything God says...
After exposing their hypocrisy.
After confronting their sin.
After calling them out.
He says:
"Come now, let us settle the matter."
That's grace.
God doesn't pretend their sin isn't serious.
Their sin is scarlet.
Crimson.
Deeply stained.
But God's grace is greater than their sin.
And His grace is greater than yours too.
No matter what you've done.
No matter how long you've been running.
No matter how much pretending you've been doing.
Jesus can make you clean.
