Sometimes doing the right thing gets exhausting.
You keep serving.
Keep giving.
Keep encouraging.
Keep showing up.
Keep carrying someone else's burden.
And nothing seems to change.
Paul understands.
That's why he says, “Let us not become weary in doing good.”
Because sometimes the hardest part of doing good isn't knowing what to do.
It's continuing to do it when you can't see any results.
Seeds don't become harvests overnight.
There's a whole lot of waiting between planting and reaping.
So don't confuse nothing happening yet with nothing happening.
Keep planting.
Keep serving.
Keep loving.
Keep carrying burdens.
Keep doing good.
You aren't responsible for producing the harvest.
You're responsible for faithfully planting the seeds.
And Paul promises that “at the proper time we will reap a harvest if we do not give up.”
So don't.

Today's Question: Where have I become tired of doing the right thing because I haven't seen results yet?
Today's Challenge: Do one good thing today that you've been tempted to stop doing. Plant another seed and trust God with the harvest.
Today's Prayer: “Jesus, when I get tired of doing good, give me strength to keep going. Help me faithfully love and serve the people You've placed around me and trust You with the results.”
