Peter doesn't leave us wondering what a godly life looks like.
He points us to Jesus.
When He was insulted...
He didn't retaliate.
When He suffered...
He didn't threaten.
When He was treated unfairly...
He trusted His Father.
And then Peter reminds us why Jesus did all of that.
"He Himself bore our sins..."
In other words, Jesus didn't just give us an example to admire.
He gave His life to save us.
And that's where every godly life begins.
Not with trying harder.
But with trusting Jesus.
And as we follow Him, little by little, we begin to look more like Him.
