After explaining everything God has done for us, Paul asks a question…“Where, then, is boasting?”
In other words...
What do we have to brag about?
Nothing.
We didn't earn our salvation.
We didn't deserve our salvation.
We didn't accomplish our salvation.
Jesus did.
And when you really understand that, it changes you.
You become grateful…because you know what you've been given.
You become humble…because you know you didn't earn it.
You give Jesus all the glory…because you know He did everything necessary to save you.
That's why we should never get over the Gospel.
Don't let grace become ordinary.
Don't let the cross become familiar.
Don't become so used to being forgiven that forgiveness stops amazing you.
Because the Gospel isn't good advice about what you need to do.
It's good news about what Jesus has already done.
Never get over that.

Today's Question:
Has the Gospel become so familiar to me that it no longer amazes me?
Today's Challenge:
Tell someone the Gospel today. It doesn't have to be complicated. Share what Jesus has done for
you, or simply explain why His grace still amazes you.
Today's Prayer:
“Jesus, don't ever let me get over what You've done for me. Keep me grateful. Keep me humble. And let my life give You all the glory.”
