A few years ago, my family received a tornado warning.
My son heard the warning. He understood the warning. He even knew exactly what he was supposed to do.
But initially, he didn't respond.
Then trees started falling. And suddenly, knowing about the warning wasn't enough.
He needed to do something with what he'd heard.
It's possible to do the same thing with the Gospel.
Over the last three weeks, we've heard the message. We had a problem we couldn't solve.
All of us have sinned. All of us have fallen short. And none of us can make ourselves righteous.
God provided the answer we couldn't provide. While we were still sinners, Jesus died for us. He took the punishment our sin deserved and paid the price we could never pay.
And now...We have a choice.
What are we going to do with Jesus?
Because it's possible to understand the problem. It's possible to understand what Jesus has done about it. And still never respond.
So don't just hear the Gospel. Respond to the Gospel.
Put your faith in Jesus. Call on His name. Confess that Jesus is Lord.
And if you've already done that, don't ever get over the fact that Jesus saved you.
Be grateful. Be humble. Worship Him. And live like Jesus really is Lord.

Today's Question:
What is my response to what Jesus has done for me?
Today's Challenge:
If you've never put your faith in Jesus, don't just think about it… respond to Him today. If you already follow Jesus, tell someone else the Good News this week.
Today's Prayer:
“Jesus, I believe You died for my sins and rose from the dead. I put my trust in You. You are Lord. Help me not only hear the Gospel but respond to it, and live every day like You really are Lord of my life.”
